The main goal of the HAMSU is to educate medical students as well as the Marine Science professionals with the highest scientific standards. All the academic programs fall under our Health Sciences or Marine Science, nothing is different in these departments everyone takes 9 core courses per quarter. In order to obtain the Medical Degree or Health Science students’ specific degree are required to complete 128 course credits excluding the residency requirements.

Our dedicated and caring professors are made up of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are up-to-date on the latest medical trends and technologies. We are constantly investing in our student’s development to ensure that young medical doctors will acquire all scientific knowledge to provide the highest level of service. An additional aim is to perform high-quality research frequently in collaboration with other international research centers.

We are committed to providing our students with top-notch support. Our team is available 24/7 to answer your questions and resolve any issues you may encounter. Dr. Fadumo Isse is a distinguished expert in pharmaceutical sciences with a PharmD, MSc in Pharmaceutical Science, and a PhD specializing in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular diseases. With a strong dedication to advancing medical research, Dr. Isse has co-authored or authored 18 peer-reviewed publications, contributing significantly to the scientific community.

Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Isse has received numerous accolades, including 10 prestigious awards such as the highly coveted Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Doctoral PhD Award. .
